I had not seen this product in action with my own eyes I would not have believed it. I discovered this miracle stain remover about 6 months ago after an unfortunate incident with puree'd blueberries.
My MIL had reccomended it to me and when I saw it in the store I thought I would try it out. C had managed to get blueberry stains all over the front and sleeves of her shirt and in her jeans. I though they would never be clean again.
I saturated the inside of the garments with the Spray n'Wash and then planned to leave them a few minutes before laundering. Oops - I forgot about them. When I went back in the kitchen several hours later there was no sign of there ever being bluberry on the fabric on either garment. I thought I must be hallucinating!
Somehow in the move my Spray n' Wash got lost and I decided rather than buy more to just use what I had on hand. Yesterday at the store I spotted some and decided to pick it up again - just in time. Last night C was wearing a white shirt and managed to squish a raspberry into the front of it. Once again I sprayed the inside of the shirt, left it for about an hour and when I came back no trace of stain! None at all! Not even a HINT of pink!
It's a miracle I tell you, a miracle!

Portland Beanie Company
Another mother pointed me to this shop on Etsy. Portland Beanie Company makes some of the most adorable hats I've ever seen! I've already bought C 2 different hats, and if my husband wouldn't have a heart attack I'd probably buy her one in every color! The sizing guide is very reliable - which is great because my kid has a small noggin and I would otherwise have no idea what size to buy her.

Custom Handpainted Growth Chart
When my brother and his fiance were asking for ideas for a birthday gift for C, I got it in my head that I would like to get her a growth chart. I thought that would be something she could keep as a keepsake. I wasn't finding anything I liked until I came across The Children's Nest Boutique. For $68 you can get a custom, handpainted wooden growth chart! I sent the link to the fabric swatch that C's bedding is made of and they painted this for her:

I think it turned out awesome and it matches her room perfectly! (Thanks K and J for giving it to C for her birthday!)
Love the Easy Find Lids
Gone are the days when I searched in vain to find the lid to match a plastic container, or had containers spilling out all over the place. I heart the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids containers. Let me tell you why:
- The lids all fit together so you can keep them in one organized stack
- The containers are square so they are easy to fit in the corner of fridge or freezer
- You can nest the containers together and then snap them together
- The smallest size is great for freezing one or two servings of baby food ( I use them to pack C's lunch and snacks for daycare, or to take a serving of dip etc. with me to work)
- I always have just the right size for our leftovers
